Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the role of social responsibility in promoting sustainable development in the pharmaceutical industry companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange, and to achieve the goals of the study a questionnaire was built for the purposes of collecting data and information, and a simple random sample of (171) workers was drawn, and the statistical analysis program was used ( SPSS) to analyze the data, and the study reached the most important results: a statistically significant effect of social responsibility in terms of their combined dimensions (the social dimension, the human dimension, the legal dimension) in promoting the sustainable development of the pharmaceutical industry companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange.

The study presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: the necessity of relying on the application of social responsibility in the pharmaceutical industry to enhance sustainable development in the pharmaceutical industry companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange, and the need for specialized departments of social responsibility within companies that undertake planning and implementation of programs and coordination with the relevant authorities.
