Abstract EN

The current study aims to identify the issues of jurisprudence in which Ibn Taymiyyah Ibn Hazm disagreed and know the point of disagreement, and to achieve the opinions and trends mentioned by Ibn Taymiyyah, and to devise the approach of Ibn Hazm and the extent of their compatibility and differences.

To achieve the study the researcher used the descriptive analytical method by recalling the issues and the way ibn Taymiyyah responded to the issues in which they agreed or disagreed with Ibn Hazm,and the study showed several results was The most important are :(1Ibn Tayma agreed with Ibn Hazm in four bases on which they relied,namely(The book, Age, Consensus, Al-Istishab) as well as measurement, opinion, approbation, pretexts and explanation of the texts of the rulings by ijtihad, on which he reliedIbn Taymiyyah,who is rejected by Ibn Hazm and al-Dhahiriya, is not considered evidence of the rulings, and Ibn Taymiyyahhas responded to their words.(2Sheikh al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah, imam Ibn Hazm, disagreed on several issues: three in purity, five in prayer, three in the Prayer Palace, one in hajj, six issues of marriage, and two issues.
