Abstract EN

This research is concerned with studying (the technical characteristics of form and content in Makki Omran's drawings).

The research has been divided into four chapters.

The first chapter is devoted to explaining the research problem, its importance, need, purpose and limits, and defining the terminology contained in it.

Which is considered one of the pillars of contemporary Iraqi painting, which produced a different style among Iraqi artists.

The form and content in the artist Makki Omran's drawings vary in terms of shapes, ideas and events as well as the stylistic vision by which his works are formulated on the surface of the artwork.

This problem has raised important questions, namely: How was the artist Makki Omran able to create a diversity between the artistic characteristics of form and content, and what were the artistic characteristics of form and content distinguished in Makki Omran's drawings? What are the intellectual references that witnessed through his artistic drawings? The second chapter included three discussions about me, the first (the technical characteristics of form and content in ancient art and philosophical thought), the second meaning (the technical characteristics of form and content in modern Iraqi painting) and the third topic (the technical characteristics of form and content in Makki Omran's drawings) and this chapter included an overview of the theoretical framework indicators The third chapter includes the research procedures, while the fourth chapter deals with the research findings and conclusions.

First: Results: 1- The artist Makki Omar n tried to make color, visual and formative blocks that restore life to the painting and at the same time he embodied in it the form through the color contrast prevailing on the pictorial surface 2- The art form shows an aesthetic vision in which the artist Makki Omran tried to embody it within his artistic work through expressive formal formations influenced by what he saw in paintings in the expressionist school Second: Conclusions: 1- Makki Omran invests in his style, embodying the intellectual contents in the structure of the painting, to create an intellectual aesthetic vision that achieves visual harmony with the subunits within the formations of his artistic work 2- The artist Makki Omran has embodied in his artistic works plastic ideas through the rhythmic colors that carry connotations and symbols with each other on his pictorial surface
