Abstract EN

The present work deals with( Realism in the painting of the students projects of art eduction department) , college of fine Arts .

the work is divided in to Four chapters.

Chapter One deals with the problem , value , aims , limits of the research and definitions of related terms .

The problem of the research is stated in the answer to the following question : what is the influence of realism on the students projects of Artistsic Education Depagrtment ? the value of the study and its importance lies in the fact that it is a scientific study which investigates reality to produce artistic works characterized by art and beauty as far as form color and subject are conceened.

it develops students abilities educationally and artistically .

It also provides the libraries and students of art with information about one of the most important school of plastic art in the past and present .

the research also aims at discovering reality in the drawings of fourth year students of artistic education.

Chapter tow discusse the aretical back ground which includes three section .

section One studieeconcelipt of realism and its growth .

section tow deals with the to most import ant artists of realism.

Section three studies the procedures , the population , methodology, tools and samples analysis .

chapter four includes the results obtained : 1- the students of artistic education benefited from the topics of their real life situation to produce their paintings and etpress their social and environmental reality through sample 1,2 and 3.

2- the Arabic and Iraqi environment is rich with multi- enviroment real topics some of which are moumtainus others are related barren area .

there are also situation , based on profession and traditions which influence the reality of students works through samples 2 and 3 the research ended with conclusions , suggestions and reterences .
