This research deals with the efforts of Hashim al-Nimii in historical writing, as he is one of the most prominent historians of the ZAsir region who specialize in modem and contemporary history, and among those who are interested in writing about the geography and local history of the region, and in writing biographies of its princes, notables and scholars.
