Abstract EN
Spinal intramedullary teratoma is a rare tumor, although a careful review of the international literature has shown that it is more frequent than believed This paper describes a 29 year-old man who had an intraspinal teratoma at T12-L1 region.
The symptoms started about 8 years earlier, and for several years consisted of back pain.
The patient underwent magnetic resonance imaging, and the tumor was removed surgically.
