Abstract EN

The purpose of this paper is to address, on the one hand, the issue of miracles which might appear on some people, which includes two kinds.

First, the miracles granted by God, the Almighty, to people of piety, probity and righteousness, and these are called in Islamic law (Shari'a) "Karama(s)" (miracles), and the people endowed with these miracles are described as holy people, these miracles are similar to, second, those granted to the Prophets to challenge disbelievers, and which are called "Mu'jiza(s)" (miracles).

On the other hand, it addresses the paranormal phenomena demonstrated by some people known for their scam, and these people do not observe the Shari'a obligations and are immoral.

Their acts are mere deceit largely used by Satanic allies.

The notion of "Karama" is explained in five chapters, drawing on its position in the Shari'a, how it differs from "Mu'jiza", and the difference between Holy people's miracles and those of the imposters.

The last chapter presents samples of Karama from the Prophet's companions and the followers' biographies.
