Abstract EN

This paper discusses the features of renewal in jurisprudence fundamentals' science according to Hassan al-Turabi, may God have mercy on him.

The paper highlights the methodological determinants and references for renewal according to Sheikh al-Turabi.

It is an inductive critical study which is based on fundamentals of Jurisprudence by this contemporary Islamic thinker.

After having identified the criteria of renewal thought in Al-Turabi's books and writings, a critical study was conducted relying on the rules of the fundamentalists (experts in Principles of Jurisprudence), the corpus of the funda-mentalist renewal by the pioneers of the science of Jurisprudence's fundamentals (usul al-fiqh), the essence of renewal, its implications and objectives.
