The main objective of this study is to know the impact of realizing the importance of using infor-mation and communication technology in improving the quality of the educational process with its various components in Libyan universities, To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive ana-lytical method was used, Where (78) forms were distributed to a sample of faculty members, (71) of the distributed forms were received, The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The study showed the existence of a positive, significant, and statistically significant relationship between realizing the importance of using information technology in university accounting teaching and improving the quality of the educational process in the colleges under study, Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended conducting workshops and discussion sessions to increase awareness and awareness about the importance of applying information technology systems and e-learning in university education.
