Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the problems of academically talented students at Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University (academic, emotional and social problems).

To achieve this goal, the researcher randomly selected a sample of (180) students who are academically talented to apply a questionnaire prepared by the researcher to identify these problems.

The results showed that psychological problems ranked first ahead of academic and social problems.

It is a psychological problem that they suffer from frustration, and continuous worry, from nosophobia, fear of failure, feeling nervousness and anger, and being overly involved in self-criticism.

As for the academic problems, the first problem was the problem of the domination of theoretical courses on the educational process, then the absence of various activities suited to their hobbies, the lack of enrichment curricula for the talented, and that the curricula do not satisfy their desires and abilities.

The most recent social problems have been the problem that they feel upset about being labeled as talented came first.

As for the statistically significant differences in the variables of the study, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences as of sex, age or university branch, while there were statistically significant differences in the specialization variable in favor of scientific specializations.
