Abstract EN

This paper aimed at knowing and verifying the effectiveness of a training program specially prepared to reduce the Attention Deficiency Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) among primary school students in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia by highlighting the importance of training programs in the treatment of the pupil behavioral problems.

In this respect, the Researcher followed the experimental approach of the same group and prepared special scales in order to apply it in measuring ADHD, and also in using the training program, which was also prepared by her.

After applying the pre / post measurements, the Researcher collected the data and entered it into the computer and analyzed it by the Statistical Package of Social Sciences (SPSS) , as well as by using the following statistical methods: T.

Test for each sample, T.

Test For the two independent samples and F test for mono-variance analysis.

Hence the Researcher has reached the following conclusions: -The conducted Training Program has led to reducing this disorder (ADHD) among the experimental group members in Jeddah.

It also showed that there were statistically significant variations in the effectiveness of the training program in reducing this Disorder attributed to the post measurements variable, however, there were no statistically significant variations in the effectiveness of the training program in reducing this Disorder among the members of the experimental group attributed to Gender variable.

Based on the above results, the Researcher set some recommendations, the most important of which are : - The need to develop therapeutic training programs for students in early and all stages of education .

- The need to develop training and rehabilitation programs for teachers on the effective methods for modifying the behavior of students.

- Applying appropriate teaching strategies on the symptoms and nature of this disorder.

- The need to prepare and provide parents with training programs to enable them to overcome the educational and behavioral problems of their children and involve them in the treatment plans implemented at the school.

- It is recommended also that teachers must pay special attention to sensory teaching aids, sports programs and non-classroom activities that help to improve the process of attention and reduce Hyperactivity Disorder.
