Abstract EN

The study aimed to know the relationship between some cognitive methods and their relationship to certain demographic factors, a changing light (type, specialization, parental education).

The researchers used the descriptive and analytical method, the study sample consisted of 81 male and female students (44 males, 37 females) in talented schools in Khartoum state.The researchers followed the following measures as instruments to the Research: the measure of cognitive method (meditation- impulse), the measure of cognitive method (independence - dependence on the cognitive field), and the measure of cognitive method (tolerance - intolerance of ambiguity),The researchers used (SPSS)–to data analysis.

And use: standard deviation-T test, Pearson correlation coefficient, ANOVAmonovariation contrast analysis.The study reached the following results: in cognitive methods the prevalence of cognitive method tolerance of ambiguity was higher widespread in the individuals of the sample with a mathematical average of 2.13 followed by the method of exploitation from the cognitive field with a mathematical average of 1.65 and followed by meditation with a mathematical average of 1.60.
