Abstract EN

This research, entitled Controls of Hamza and Alef in the Arabic Language, is an grammatical and analytical study.

This study comes in two axes: The first axis, Hamzah: It includes the types of hamzas, how to write and pronounce them, in addition to how to draw hamzah in the middle of the word and at the end, as well as the places where the hamzat is deleted in writing and verbally.

And the second axis, Alif: This axis included the difference between Hamzah and Alif in terms of writing and pronunciation, in addition to how to write Alif in the middle of the word and at the end, as well as the places from which the Alif is deleted and in which Alif is increased.

This is due to the importance of these two axes in the correct writing and proper reading of the texts of the Arabic language, and therefore it is necessary to draw the attention of readers and writers to these two axes and urge them to take an interest in understanding the hamza and the thousand correctly.

The researchers note that there is a great confusion among most readers and writers between hamza and alif in writing and pronunciation.

The researchers used the descriptive analytical method, which is based on monitoring the phenomenon, analyzing it, and extracting results from it.

The researchers have come to many results, including the following: There is a big difference between hamza and alif in terms of written drawing and pronunciation.

There are many people, including some specialists in Arabic who do not distinguish between hamzah and alif.Most of the students and some professors do not consider the difference between the link and cut shakes in terms of writing and pronunciation.
