Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to investigate the prevalence degree of organizational postponement behavior of public secondary school principals in Jordan and its relationship to the organizational slack behavior of teachers.

the sample consisted of (90) principals and (320) teachers.

the results indicated that the degree of prevalence of postponement (delayed) behavior among public secondary school principals in Jordan was medium, and that the degree of prevalence of organizational slack (relaxation) behavior among teachers working with them was also average.

the results also indicated a statistically significant relationship between the prevalence of postponement behavior among school principals and the prevalence of slack behavior among teachers.

it was recommended that the mechanism for selecting principals and follow up on the job performance of principals and teachers be reviewed.
