Abstract EN

The study dealt with the role of natural and historical components in the development of tourism in Sudan and Algeria by limiting these resources and showing their role in tourism development in the two countries, and the problem of the study was to know what is helping the natural and historical components on the development of the tourism sector in Sudan and Algeria and to what extent the ingredients of natural and historical tourism are available in Sudan and Algeria.

The geographical framework differs among themselves and deepening the concept of tourism and awareness of the importance of tourism activity among citizens and workers in the tourism sector in the two countries, The study aimed to make recommendations to help benefit from natural and historical resources in the field of tourism development in both Sudan and Algeria, and was based on the descriptive approach in the study using observation in various forms and previous studies to collect data on the areas of natural and historical attractions in the two countries and the study has reached several results, the most important of which plays a major role in the revitalization and development of the tourism industry in Sudan and Algeria, the richness of Sudan and Algeria with natural and historical tourism components with the diversity in its various forms and variations in the context of its geographical distribution, the study also came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is the need to spread tourism awareness and tourism culture in our society (Algerian and Sudanese), the need to pay attention to the tourism and agriculture sector as an alternative to the hydrocarbon sector, which witness the decline in sales and revenues in the two countries.
