Abstract EN

This research aims to design programmed-based educational activities using APP INVENTOR in order to develop procedural knowledge and motivation towards learning mathematics among eleventh-grade technology-stream students in Palestine.

The research sample consisted of 34 students, divided equally into two groups: An experimental group studied mathematics using programming-based educational activities, and a control group studied mathematics according to the usual traditional method.

Data was collected using the procedural knowledge test and the measurement scale of motivation towards learning mathematics.

The results showed a statistically significant difference between the two grade averages of the experimental group students in two applications: Pre-application and post-application, in favor of postapplication.

The results also showed no statistically significant difference between the two grade averages of the two groups: The control and experimental groups in the post-application of the procedural knowledge test.

However, there was a statistically significant difference between the two grade averages of the two groups: The control and experimental groups in the post-application of the measurement scale of attitude towards learning mathematics, in favor of the experimental group.
