Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to identify students' experiences in the middle school of using Quick Response code technology, which utilities in the textbooks curriculum in Saudi Arabia; by finding the reality of the usage, viewed students' perceptions about the advantages of using QR codes and their attitude toward its.

The researchers used the descriptive method by using a questionnaire to questioning as a tool 354 female and male students in middle school, randomly selected from Riyadh City schools.

Among the findings of this study, students "sometimes" use QR code in their textbooks curriculum (M = 2.97, SD = 1.03), and that they had a positive attitude toward using QR code (M = 3.49, SD = 0.94).

Also, the findings showed that gender affected the use of QR code for females at a significance level of a = 0.05.

The most significant recommendation for this study is to increase training courses for teachers on how to apply QR codes during their teaching, motivate their students to use QR codes, train students on how they use QR codes.

Finally, the study suggested further studies on the impact of using QR code on the educational process and comparative studies with successful experiences in other countries of using QR code in education
