Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify attitudes of academic leaders towards empowering women to actively participate in decision-making in Hail University in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The study adopted the descriptive approach, and the scale was the tool of study, and they assured its validity and reliability.

The study sample consisted of (220) academic leaders in Hail University in Saudi Arabia.

The results study showed that attitudes of academic leaders towards empowering Saudi women to actively participate in decision-making in Hail University came to a moderate level.

The results indicate that there are differences in attitudes of academic leaders towards empowering women to actively participate in decision-making in Hail University in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 attributed to gender, specialization and experience variables in favor of males, humanities colleges and less than 5 years' experience, while no differences were attributed to the academic level.

The study recommended that universities should conduct training programs aimed at training faculty members of the women cadres and empowering them to participate actively in decision-making in Saudi universities
