Children on the streets, a field study on children organized from the road to safety in the city of Kassala, eastern Sudan.

the study of street children in the city of Kassala, eastern Sudan, aimed at a field study of organized children from the road to safety to knowledge, diagnosis and investigation of the factors contributing to the exacerbation of the phenomenon at the economic and social level.

the study used a number of research methods recognized in studies such as the descriptive and analytical approach, the regional approach and the quantitative approach, as well as the study has been supported by mechanisms such as personal observation, interview, focus group, and research in published and unpublished sources related to the subject of the study.

the study reached conclusions, the most important of which is that the reasons for the presence of children in the streets in Kassala city are the result of several factors intertwined and connected with each other in the form of a circular circle whose parts are difficult to separate, including economic conditions.

which takes the lion’s share in terms of influence, as well as the multifaceted social factors.

also, the presence of children on the streets has produced many results obtained from that presence, including what is security, social and health, the consequences of which have been on the children themselves and on the society in which these children are located.

there are social factors represented in economic conditions and cracks.

family and migration factors from the countryside to the tide the reduction of illiteracy rates, especially among fragile societies, contributed to the exit of children into the street, and they represent (factors of social deterioration).

the study recommends a number of interim recommendations, including in-depth studies and the continuous and periodic renewal of statistics on the phenomenon of children in the streets in the city of Kassala.

there must be concerted official and popular efforts to try to reduce the existence of the phenomenon and contribute to solving the phenomenon economically and socially within the city of Kassala, especially as the city of Kassala is full of foreign and national organizations and government institutions related to street children that would address these situations.
