The topic of the intervention and the topic is titled "digitization from a technical perspective", which was presented during the work of the national forum marked with: the role of digitization in quality in higher education, faculty of law-university of Algeria 1, on march 1, 2020, organized by the quality assurance cell of the faculty of law- university of Algeria 1, on the devices and means used digitizing the higher education sector and scientific research, which includes the following: 1- the material means in digitizing the higher education sector: which included two main parts of the material means.

a- hardware: which includes all devices of hard-machins - computers, smart mobile phone, electronic tablette, .....

- automated media networks represented in the internet, LAN-WAN-MAN-VPN.

- servers devices, databases, platforms and floors.

b- sofwere: these include the programs used in the higher education sector, we mention the most important of them - the system developed progres, is a national digital platform that includes digital databases pertaining to the pedagogical study path for university students in various phases, as well as the management and follow-up of the professional and pedagogical path for university professors.

- SYNGEB: university libraries management system.

- SNDL: the national system for electronic documentation.

- PNST: the national thesis notification portal - ASJP: the Algerian portal for scientific journals-google scholar - institutional email: professional email of institution - the syllabus program-social networks.

2- human means: we mention in particular the engineers and technicians employed in the higher education and scientific research sector who are tasked with completing and running information equipment and programs for digitizing the sector.
