the most important commitment in the documentary credit is the obligation of the issuing bank to examine the documents presented by the beneficiary and to make sure that it complies with the terms of documentary credit.

therefore, the bank must carefully examine them, because the acceptance of documents that do not comply with the instructions of its customer incurs responsibility towards his client and the latter may refuse to receive these nonconformity documents or request compensation.
