Abstract EN

The global financial sector has witnessed many shifts in the financial and banking industry, which has boosted financial liberalization and the opening of markets so that banks can expand their activities and invade insurance industry in order to confort competition and staying in the market, banks distributing insurance preopening through their windows, which is called “ the insurance banking”.

The study aimed to shed light on the reality of insurance's practice banking in Alegria by clarifying the factors that help the successful practice of this activity, as well the challenges it faces.

In addition, the study concludet that the insurance banking in Alegria lacks clear strategy among afficials to adopt this activity, also well as the limited number of insurance products that can be distributed through Algerian banks.
