Abstract EN

This study aims to shed light on the agricultural policies in Algeria during the period (2000-2014), and put some of them appropriate future solutions to solve this problem and try to evaluate it, in addition to knowing the challenges facing agriculture in Algeria.

the study concluded that the available food security components in Algeria are insufficient, especially in light of: the problems that the agricultural sector suffers from, the absence of a strong political will, and agricultural policies have not check ruled targets..

through the study, we tried to develop some suggestions to serve future strategies.
