في هذه الدراسة نركز على المشاكل المنهجية التي تفتقر إليها الكثير من التقارير الإحصائية و بالخصوص تلك التي تحاول تقدير أوالتنبوء بعدد الاصابات أوالوفيات.
نستعرض في هذه الدراسة الأسس المنهجية و البنى النظرية التي يجب أن تتحلى بها أية دراسة أين تكون المعطيات الرقمية و الإحصائية هي الأساس.
بناءا عليه نقدم مثالين تطبيقيين.
الأول يتعلق بتقدير الذروة.
أما المثال الثاني فيركز على تحديد أهم العوامل الكلية لأكثر من 200 دولة التي تفسر عدد الاصابات أو الوفيات.
من أهم نتائج هذا المقال أن تفسير الظاهرة الزمني و المقطعي قد يتغير بتغير النماذج و مبانيها الرياضية و الإحصائية.
و عليه، فإن أي تفسير للظاهرة يجب أن يكون احتماليا، لا قطعيا
Abstract EN
The main purpose of this paper is to critically assess the statistical approach to modelling the spread of Corona virus.
In this context, the study outlines the main principles and theoretical foundations required for any statistical and econometric modelling of the spread of Corona virus.
We also offer two applications including (i) modelling the peak of Corona cases and deaths and (ii) modelling the determinants of the Corona cases and deaths in over 200 countries.
The study concludes that any inferences about Corona virus should be made with caution as they may well depend on the forms and specifications of the statistical models
