Abstract EN
Intended or unintended ingestion of a foreign body is a common cause hospital admission.
The FB may pass freely through the gut, become stuck somewhere in the gastrointestinal tract, or it may migrate unusually outside the gastrointestinal tract.
We report a case of prisoner who sought medical attention by ingestion of sewing needle; after a period of regular follow up, we found that the needle passed through the liver and abdominal wall to the skin.
