The plans followed to prevent border crimes from smuggling, infiltration and other crimes must be evaluated through the achievements during a specific period, which is usually measured by measures which differ from one region to another.

The number of operations that took place during a specific period is the focus in the process of quality evaluation of the performance for a particular unit.

The problem comes from those methods used to measure this quality in most cases depends on the analysis of ratios and averages, which are not enough indicators to the extent that it can build future, as there is no modern measurement method used to measure this quality.

This research aims to show how to use Six- Sigma measure to measure the quality of the operating unit of border guards in a specific region or at the state level.

It is one of the well-known measures in the world of quality management, and its aims to reduce the number of defects in the product as it allows only 3.4 defects per million chances, meaning that the efficiency and effectiveness ratio is 99.9997%.

This measure will applied to transactions that took place during a specified period, on the basis that the recently disclosed operations represent defects in the measure.

The importance of this study comes from the fact that it determines the level of quality at which the working unit of border guards works in a specific area, and then plans can built and modified according to this level.

It is also possible to compare the performance of different units or compare the performance of the same unit for different periods in addition to measuring the quality of border guards at the Country.

The paper concluded that very important to use six-sigma methodology in developing the performance of border guards in general and for the case study.

In addition, that the performance of the border guards in the state X was best in the fourth quarter of the year and the worst performance was in the third quarter of the year.

Moreover, for crimes, the best performance was for combating smuggling from abroad to the inside and the worst performance was for combating infiltration from outside the inside.
