The subject of teaching methods is one of the topics that has received a great deal of research, studies as they play a key role in the treatment of educational-learning subjects, and their orientation.

Each educational subject has its own appropriate strategies, such as civic education, which requires different methods such as the interactive method, the active analog method, the problem-solving method, the collaborative learning method, the way the project is completed, and the mind-blowing method that helps the learner in the construction of his education, the creation of collective action, participation, problem-solving and the development of all his capacities, using analysis, reasoning, discussion, conclusion and judgement, which were included in primary and intermediate education in Algeria's educational system.

This research paper is therefore intended to examine the concept of teaching methods and types in the subject of civic education.
