The purpose of this study is to highlight the impact of the application of ISO 14001 on the environmental performance of the Algerian economic corporation, through the construction of a questionnaire and its distribution to a random sample of 59 workers from Adouane chemical enterprise in 1999-2020.

statistical processing was done on the basis of SPSS 20.

the study established the effectiveness of Iso 14001 as an environmental management system and its positive impact on the environmental performance of the enterprise under study, through the rationalization of energy consumption ; reducing emissions and enhancing waste recycling capabilities.
