Algeria witnessed a popular movement against the ruling authority in the country during the last presidential elections, in which the Algerian people expressed through their caricatures the injustice they are experiencing.

The aim of this study is to shed light on the role played by the art of caricature in expressing the bitter reality of Algerian society.

At the end of the study, we concluded that the art of caricature has an important role in addressing the issues of society as a whole.
