Abstract EN

Since the perspective of Fatemi caliphate was to control over the whole Islamic territory and rule the Islamic world, it was of paramount importance for them to incorporate their ideology and doctrine principles into Islamic societies.

Therefore, this caliphate strived for promoting its beliefs in different ways, including poetry.

In this paper, a descriptive analytical method has been adopted to address the pedagogical functions of poetry for Fatemian and how poetry was employe to promote and aggrandize Isma’eli learnings? According to research findings, the function of Fatemian poetry include: encouraging the audience to educating and thinking, questioning and criticizing, raising curiosity in the audience and weakening their former beliefs, introducing Isma’eli principles and making them easy to understand using literary devices, strengthening Isma’eli learnings through Quranic and narrative evidences and reasons, answering to accusations and clarifying Isma’eli learnings.
