Through this article, we seek to shed light on the most important pedagogical linguistic principles in the Arab heritage, which relate to teaching the Arabic language in general, and teaching grammar in particular.

the application space for this study was the book of : “total controls in what is needed from Arabic” (aldawabit alkuliyat fima tamasu alhajat 'iilayh min al-Arabiya) by Assulami, which represents a brief style for teaching grammar.

we examined this book through analysis and description searching for the knowledge and methodology it bears.

we also tried to extrapolate and deduce the explicit and implicit from the educational, linguistic and psychological dimensions that it stores, with reference to the clarification of how to benefit from these principles recently in building the curriculum of grammar.
