Abstract EN

Arabic language has received great attention from linguists, because it is the language of religion and the official language in the Arab countries.

considering that it is the official language of education in Algeria, educators have relied, in order to teach it, on a number of approaches that are closely related to modern linguistics.

among the most important of these approaches we find the textual approach that makes from the text a starting point for all learnings in different educational levels.

after the learners used to start from the sentence in learning the vocabulary and structures of the language, the text became the focus of attention, because it represents the structure with which we communicate and influence others.

this paper seeks to link the teaching of the Arabic language with the textual approach, based mainly on the concepts of text-linguistics, in an attempt to demonstrate its effectiveness in teaching and learning the language.
