Arabic is known to be the richest language in terms of vocabulary.

thanks to Arabs and the ancient ones especially, Arabic had received considerable care throughout.

it had never gone out of fashion.

this article aims at shedding light on some of the tremendous efforts that Arabs have made to preserve Arabic and keep it unaffected all the way.

we will also take a closer look at how earliest dictionaries were written, and if they witnessed improvement afterwards.

finally, we are going to highlight the main differences between old and modern dictionaries.
