Abstract EN

Few researchers have addressed Amazigh literature in Taznati in the region of Gurara, in the southwest of Algeria.

previous work has focused on the linguistic aspect of Taznatit.

this can be explained by the scarcity of written sources because of the absence of the written tradition.

the prevailing phenomenon of oral tradition made of the popular culture and literature, which were transmitted from a generation to another through narrators, vulnerable to distortion and sometimes loss.

the aim of this article is to shed light on the Amazigh literature in Taznatit in all its components in the region of Gurara.

the research concludes that the popular literature in Taznatit includes various parts of literature and that there are big similarities with Arabic and Western literatures especially with regard to idioms, sayings and proverbs, which indicates that the Amazigh literature in Taznatit belongs to the international heritage of humanity.
