This study deals with the famous folk games seen during "al Waada" festive across the region of Tlemcen, it aims firstly to shed light on the phenomenon of "al Waada" as a popular celebration in which various activities of folklore are exhibited.

secondly, it addresses the nature of the folk games, and thirdly, it highlights the most important folk games present in "al Waada" celebration.

we conclude by emphasizing on the importance of these cultural events and celebrations in preserving the heritage from disappearance, and passing it on to new generations by exhibiting the various activities of folklore, especially folk games.
