This study aims at identifying the psychological effects of insulting Islamic sanctities, according to psychology and sociology experts.

in this article, we are going to talk about both the theoretical and practical sides of the study.

accordingly, the researcher administered a standardized questionnaire to a randomly chosen sample consisting of 35 experts in psychology and sociology.

we found that 63% of the psychology and sociology experts confirm that insulting Islamic sanctities has psychological effects on Algerian Muslim such as anxiety, anger, feeling weak, depression, and sadness…, these effects differ according the party responsible for the insult, and do not differ according to the type of insult to Islamic sanctities.
