This paper discusses the problem of the infringement of the trademarks in digital environment and the sale of counterfeit goods online which becomes common act in the digital trade locally and worldwide.
Till now their no law or legislation to fight this types of violating trademarks in the digital environmentThe protection provided in the Egyptian law is not sufficient to address this type of violation under civil, criminal or administrative laws.
This paper addresses this problem and gives some suggestions and recommendations to overcome the shortcoming in the current system.
