Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the requirements for digital transformation in achieving the goals of the Youth and Sports Directorate in Alexandria Governorate by specifying each of the administrative requirements, human requirements, infrastructure requirements, and security and legislative requirements.

The researcher used the descriptive approach to suit the nature of the research.

Study sample Individuals were distributed as follows: The employees of the Youth and Sports directorate from the three administrative levels, the higher administration, their number (25) individuals, the middle management, their number (180) individuals, and the executive management, their number (80) individuals.

The most important results were the development of the directorate’s objectives to keep pace with digital transformation, the development of various activity plans to keep pace with digital transformation to upgrade the directorate, the adoption of a digital transformation strategy in its youth and sports directors, the development of the organizational structure of the youth and sports directorate and the administrative branches to allow for digital transformation, the training of administrators to use new and digital technologies through the Internet.

Preparing educational courses on the importance of digital transformation in their youth and sports directorate, providing a Wi-Fi network, which is a connection via a wireless network in the Youth and Sports Directorate, and setting rules for storing and using data and information securely.

In the light of presenting and discussing the results and conclusions of the research, the researcher reached the following recommendations: First: Special recommendations for the Ministry of Youth and Sports are to allocate the necessary funds to start preparing tools and infrastructure for digital transformation, to develop a strategic plan to train and refine workers electronically to keep pace with the digital transformation, to set the necessary legal legislation to protect the circulation of data and its confidentiality.

Second: Recommendations for the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Alexandria Governorate: Providing adequate and qualified human cadres to manage activities in light of digital transformation, providing the necessary financial allocations for preparation and rehabilitation, providing a mechanism to encourage workers to digital transformation, activating electronic networks between the bodies related to sports.
