Abstract EN

This research aims to highlight the colonial policy that the French protection authorities in Morocco approached against the people in their desire to eliminate their authentic identity and try to integrate them into French society.

The French colonialism strived to destroy the Moroccan identity by undermining the Islamic religion, eliminating the Arabic language and spreading Christianity, especially in the barbarian milieu.

France was aware that preserving its interests in Morocco passes through establishing an alternative colonialism that compensates for the military withdrawal, it is more dangerous because it depends on cultural colonialism.

Therefore, colonial leaders directed their attention to subjugate souls and minds culturally in order to be able to subjugate the bodies, and even if the bodies are deluded of liberation with independence, their minds and souls are remained tied.

And Its way to achieve this in the educational field was to establish different and varied French schools that provide education in the French and Berber language, with an almost complete ence of the Arabic language within the courses, and these schools were limited to a certain elite for which the French officials held future hopes.
