Abstract EN

The Jordan Valley has played an important role in economic life throughout history.

It has many advantages, including the fertility of its land, which is penetrated by the Jordan River and the strategic location as a corridor of convoys and a link between the Levant, Egypt and other countries.

This study is intended to emphasize an important aspect of the agricultural sector, which was used in the Ayyubid and Mamluk periods to suit the needs of farms in the Ghor in that period, which is one of the main pillars that support agricultural production.

This study deals with a number of agricultural tools used in the Ayyubid and Mamluk periods, with drawings and illustrations of these tools and their methods.

, This study reached the results and recommendations that improve the quality of life in the Jordan Valley.
