After the linguistic revolution caused by "de Saussure" and developments in critical and linguistics studies field, rhetoric is now looking at the uttered in its structure, significance, function, communication and classification.

Hence, the metaphor was among the rhetorical images affected by this development after being limited to educational linguistic comprehension.

Nevertheless, it is no longer a textual tool investigating in ways of communicating ideas and meanings with emotional impact events but rather a cognitive tool widening breadth of fields of knowledge.

What are the ancient Ar' textual, linguistic and rhetorical comprehension deficiencies of metaphors? How did metaphor evolve being a tool related to meaning; extending to limits of knowledge in human thought; and related to thought of modernity in new critical and rhetorical lesson?
