Abstract EN

The current study revolves around psychological reading of al-Mukhal al-Yashkiri visionary, a young poet followed Al-Nu'man ibn al-Mundhir era, being one of his drinking-buddies.

Dealing with a poem of pre-Islamic poetry where poets diversified into the poetic aspects including flirt, al-Mukhal al-Yashkiri's subject matter.

Like any poetic text being able to be approached psychologically, the study highlighted Al-Yashkiri psychological distress taking into account its psychological state which had taken place from beginning of the poetic text until its completion.

It has also explained main motives behind the impulse accompanying the poet and his ambition to attain the rank of Master of the Khawarnak, in addition to monitoring an affective/ emotional complex such as inferiority complex, passing through the eros instinct as a primary impulse.
