Abstract EN

Many studies dealt with the issues of Arabism and Islam analysis, theorizing and diagnosing the reality of the cultural experience in Algeria and its relation to the intellectual invasion that witnessed the alienation of identity and self, but there are almost no in-depth studies that are the most important and fundamental aspect of the social practices in the culture of the self in the experience of Mohammed Al-Bashir AL-Ibrahimi.

The writings of the intellectual and reformer Al Ibrahimi were able to visualize the concept of self and identity based on an awareness emanating from an Arab-Islamic heritage, which turned towards the descent and crystalization in the personality of an Algerian intellectual project rooted in its public and private surroundings all its national and religious aspects that hopes for a society that aspires to catch up with modern societies, and create an atmosphere that is more suitable for the manifestations of life for Algerians.

The Sheikh did not seek a kind of domesticated thought, or domesticated culture, as some of them are common, but his literature was derived from a revolutionary thought haunted by the obsessions of revolution, development, arabization and the restoration of the manifestations of stolen identity, oriented towards faith in the future, science, faith and man.
