The research talks about the memory of "Battle of Wadi Al-Makhazin", which took place between Morocco and Portugal near the Moroccan city of Ksar El-Kébir in 1578, which ended with the victory of the Saadian dynasty and its allies from the Zawiyas and Ottomans in the face of the Portuguese who were defeated despite having received the support of the Pope and a number of European countries, especially Spain.

the Moroccan victory in this battle and the defeat it inflicted on the Portuguese side, left a group of rebounds that created multiple perceptions in the memory of the warring parties for a period of time, but the Moroccan and foreign historical documents and sources (Europeans and Ottomans) provides a copy of this memory, in addition to making the informations that enables to reveal hidden aspects of this battle and its reality despite the partiality of some of them
