Abstract EN

The current study sought to reveal the relationship between the locus of control and the psychological burnout of secondary school teachers at Bousaada city, M'sila.

it also aimed to know the differences in the psychological burnout and in locus of control according to the gender variable.

we relied on the descriptive method and used both Router's locus of control scale and Maslach burnout inventory (M B I) on a sample of 227 teachers.

after processing data statistically through SPSS, the following results were achieved: -there is a positive correlation between the locus of control and psychological burnout among secondary school teachers.

-there are no significant statistical differences in the locus of control according to gender -there are no significant statistical differences in the psychological burnout according to gender
