This research aims to highlight the importance of the components of the desert tourism in Algeria in promoting economic and social developmen, the study concluded that tourism is an important economic artery for many countries in the worldwith the diversity of fields and types of tourism according to the possibilities possessed by these countries it turned out that desert tourism is different from other areas as it attracts a large number of tourists because they contain monuments and monuments in addition to the nature of the distinct climate, Algeria is one of the countries that have great potential and diversity in the elements of desert attractions, Therefore, we have tried through this study to highlight the elements of the development and development of desert tourism in Algeria.

to keep pace with the requirements of successful global tourism and the popularization of tourism culture in the desert cities to be a future tourist destination characterized by a unique historical, cultural and civilizational heritage, the experiences of leading countries in this area were presented for use and guidance.
