This study came in order to highlight the role of the university library in scientific research as it is the beating heart of the university.

all that is required for the research to present his research and work in a good, modern and scientific manner.

however, through we found in this study that the university library of Adrar is still far from the concept of the modern library, not to mention the absence of the various information services that must be available, as well as the absence of the element of modernity in the information sources, the lake of the library on human competencies in the field of modern technologies, but it is still striving to serve beneficiaries and support scientific research.
