Due to the fast development of technology and the evolution of knowledge, the manual traditional term extracting techniques became almost useless.

for that, it was necessary to consider using new digital extracting tools that are more sophisticated and easily updated to automatically analyze specialized texts and extract the words that are most likely terms.

in this paper, we evaluate several term extraction tools presenting their adopted strategies ; as a result, we are going to draw conclusions considering the most common problems related to these term exactors.
