Abstract EN

This study approach a very important theme in relation with a special receiver of translation, child, between the translator’s strategy and targets, especially the problematic of the translation dedicated to the child, for circumstances related to the characteristics of the child.

The adaptation is considered as the most used method in this type of translation, in which it allows the possibility to the translator to move the original text's content through adapting it to the target language’s culture.

So, what are the issues in the translation of literary text dedicated to child? Then, what is the translator’s strategy and targets during translating to the youngest receiver among us ?
