The research "environmental governance and its relationship to sustainable development : a conceptual and theoretical study" discusses a set of concepts and theories related to environmental governance and its relationship to sustainable development.

our study also shows the most important actors in environmental governance and the challenges facing its implementation in developing countries.

it is based on the hypothesis that environmental governance has a role to play in improving sustainable development indicators for countries, based on our study on the environmental approach as the most important entry in the analysis of environmental issues.

then it came to the conclusion that environmental governance is one of the most important effective working mechanisms to deal with environmental problems.

so, this study seeks to clarify the concept of environmental governance, its actors and indicators, the most important theories and their role in achieving sustainable development.
